My friend's going on a date
"With a girl I met online," he said
Together both of them - one on one
In the hope they find each other fun

"Her name is sweet and rhymes with Melissa
Her looks (he thinks) is like Princessa
She thinks he's a nice friendly guy
Although he insists he is ugly, stupid and short like a fry

His eyes look bright and gleam joyously
Telling all about how they met humorously
I laugh as he details all he did
And how she insists they finally meet

He smiles and talks easily, as if well-prepared
But inside his heart is going pompaty-pompaty-pom real bad
Like anyone would be going on the first date
Let's just hope they don't somehow end up in bed
... on their first ermmm... blind date.
